Where is the best place to buy stockings for "thicker" legs? Everything I find is either too small in the thigh and too big in the leg or too small in the leg and too big in the thigh.

Thanks
Izzy

Fishnets have a lot of stretch, more than other stockings, so they'll hug your legs at the bottom and fit your thighs nicely as well. You could try some with an unfinished top that you would wear with garters or a garter belt. Something like these fishnets (http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/pages/product_detail.php?ProductID=605)might be good, or these (http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/pages/product_detail.php?ProductID=283), which come in a lot of colors. You could also try something like these corseted lace top fishnets (http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/pages/product_detail.php?ProductID=945) if you want a finished top, because the ribbon at the top can just be tied more loosely (these are insanely sexy, I think).

If you don't like fishnets, you could go with a stocking that laces up the back like this (http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/pages/product_detail_ProductID_694.php) and lace it in a way that feels comfortable to you. I think these ones would look so pretty with a soft, velvet ribbon.

Hope this helps!

Levee is great for larger (wider) sizes and Cervin and Gerbe has a few styles meeting the need for wider legs.
Available from both http://stockingshq.com and http://calzessa.com

I have been purchasing from Lynn's Lingerie & Boutique lately. They have a large selection of hosiery and are actually running a 10% off sale on all hosiery until Sunday, 7/5. Plus when you sign up for their newsletter you get an additional 10% off. I purchased several queen sized stockings and pantyhose and have had great luck with them fitting perfectly. I've asked them for some opaque red stockings and they were able to track them down for me even though they were not on their website. They were very helpful! Their website is http://www.LynnLingerie.com. Hope this helps!
